With her inimitable vocals, Megan Moroney delivers storytelling that hits the heart and electrifies the nerve centre.

Last year, she released her critically acclaimed debut album, Lucky, which appeared on the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard and Associated Press best of the year lists.

On the album, Mega Moroney delves into genres such as country, folk and southern rock. The album features both beautiful, heartfelt ballads and electrifying uppercuts like the single "Im Not Pretty", which is a defiantly sharp-cut commentary on her ex's new girlfriend. The song is based on experiences from Megan Moroney's own life. She says of the track in a press release:

"It’s a mostly true story (you can find the Spring Break throwback pic on my Instagram) but not meant to be taken too seriously. "I think everyone can relate to somebody keeping tabs on them on social media. It was fun to write and it’s fun to sing and hopefully will become an anthem for the girls."

Megan Moroney was born in the state of Georgia and grew up in a musical family that was heavily influenced by legendary songwriters of classic country, rock and Americana. During the songwriter's freshman year at the University of Georgia, she had the opportunity to open for an established country artist at the iconic Georgia Theatre. From there, she fell head over heels in love with writing lyricism with nerve and empathy, fuelled by her stunning, distinctive vocals.

In 2022, she was on the verge of her big break with the release of her debut EP, Pistol Made of Roses, followed by the single "Tennessee Orange", which put Megan Moroney's name on everyone's lips in the fabled music city of Nashville.
