If there's one word that encapsulates Parra for Cuva's sound, it's "yearning". His music has become known first and foremost for a sense of worldliness - a magical terrain where Caribbean steel drum can meet an ancient Zimbabwean instrument over melodic, electronic soundscapes that immediately take you to faraway places.

It's this sense of openness in his productions that the German electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist has cultivated from the start, and although his skills are becoming increasingly refined and his sound more mature, Parra for Cuva's music retains this starry-eyed quality of adventurousness.

This spring he will release his fourth studio album, Mimose, which once again sends the listener on a journey through haunting vocals, choral singing, groovy basslines, trance synths and exciting collaborations.

Although he had already gained a loyal following with singles and two acclaimed albums, Majouré (2014) and Darwîś (2016), it was with the release of Paspatou in 2018 that Parra for Cuva's name was firmly established on the international electronic scene. The title of the album is taken from a character in Jules Verne's classic Around The World In 80 Days, and just as the book takes the reader on an adventurous journey, Parra for Cuva does the same with his listeners.

In 2021, he released the album Juno, proving that Berlin's electronic music scene has more to offer than just hard electronica and techno. Juno's sound world leans on contemporary electronic names like Christian Löffler and Max Cooper, who infuse their electronic productions with warm, often melancholic, analog sounds.

Den franske producer, Fakear, landede midt i en megasucces. Uden at have udgivet et eneste album spillede han en udsolgt koncert i den legendariske koncerthal Olympia i Paris og senere stod resten af verden på hans tour. Små ti år og en pandemi senere har Théo Le Vigoureux, manden bag Fakear, haft brug for at genopfinde sig selv og sit musikalske alter ego.
