With their latest album, Fortune Favors The Bold, the Virginia-based band once again guides the listener into a harmonious, dusty universe of alt-country, classic rock virtues, and high-octane folk music from the Appalachians. They say about the album:
"As we’ve aged and matured, our sound has gone from a softer place to this grittier, edgier tone that we have now," says lead singer/guitarist Isaac Gibson. "So, we're trending more towards being a rock band instead of a country band. But, at the same time, I don't think anybody's ever known quite what to call it."
Fortune Favors The Bold is the band's fourth studio album, and the five members take a deeper musical dive, both in terms of sound and lyrics.
In essence, the album is about the dreams the young musicians had when, as teenagers, they jammed vigorously in the small, sleepy mountain town of Castlewood. Fortune Favors The Bold is about defying all odds to bring their art to life. It's about leaving the safety of their hometown to venture down unknown paths in search of something greater.

With his pleasantly raspy voice, Drayton Farley stands on the edge of the emerging country, folk, roots and Americana music scene.
Raised in Alabama, he writes real-life, relatable songs and lyrics that are both extremely heartfelt and down-to-earth - and he sings as deeply about the love he has as the love he's lost.
