Emma Sehested Høeg wraps VEGA in grandeur
In connection with Emma Sehested Høeg 's first concert at Store VEGA being sold out, an extra concert on 13 May has now been announced so that even more people can look forward to experiencing the grandiose and critically acclaimed live universe.
Emma Sehested Høeg's autumn has included a Danish Music Awards nomination, four sold-out concerts with Copenhagen Phil in March and receiving the Crown Prince Couple's Cultural Star Droplet Award as part of the How to Kill A Dog theatre collective.
Most recently, she released the single "Aldrig Helt Nok" at the end of January. A song that has been long awaited by fans, followers and audiences since Høeg introduced it back in 2020 as part of the Reumert-winning theatre production Lolita Forever.
With a band consisting of some of the country's most talented musicians, Emma Sehested Høeg delivers live concerts where both the drama and musicality are at a particularly high level. Her ambitions are sky-high, and audiences can look forward to concerts that manage to push the boundaries of what to expect from a typical concert experience.
Support: Jonas Visti
For the past 10 years, Jonas Visti has flourished as a versatile figure on the Danish music scene, whether it's in the form of his radio program 'Vistis Vinyler' on Danmarks Radio or as a musician, DJ and emcee at the country's venues, clubs and festivals.
This evening at VEGA, you'll be spun into old vinyls from a bygone era. Back when life was a little warmer, a little browner and a whole lot more sultry.
You'll experience a slightly seductive, mysterious and subdued performance that will be the perfect aural prologue to tonight's concert.
