Forest Claudette (they/them) are driven by emotion and a pure desire for their art to reach listeners regardless of life experience or disposition. For the Melbourne-based songwriter and musician, music has long been a pathway to escape and therapy.

After a long search, Forest Claudette finally found their sound, of which 2022's 'Creaming Soda' is a fantastic product of. Their newest single "Kobe Beef" was released on February 29th this year and is an intoxicating, gentle and pleasant soul track.

Forest Claudette's sound moves effortlessly between two different loves of R&B and pop; including the experimental threads that often pull the two genres into each other's orbit. Their sound is in many ways a musical breath of fresh air, which can be heard on their current EP Everything Was Green.

With inspirations ranging from Frank Ocean to Tyler, The Creator and Phoenix, Forest Claudette's own sound palette was formed at a young age on a foundation of 00s hip hop and the burgeoning wave of indie music that became a dominant force in pop culture during the decade.
