VEGA takes pride in nurturing talent and runs an ambitious development program under the umbrella of VEGA Talent.
VEGA works year-round to shape and develop Danish live music, which flows from the venue’s three stages. The goal is always to create the highest possible quality of experience for everyone using the venue: for the musicians on stage, the concertgoers attending events at VEGA, and the many partners VEGA interacts with daily.

Ideal Bar as a dedicated stage for emerging talent
VEGA puts great care into curating the right program for its smallest stage, Ideal Bar—a space that looks ahead and reflects VEGA’s commitment to both Danish and international talent, as well as to our goals of inclusion and representation. Ideal Bar is VEGA’s dedicated stage for new talent, hosting over 100 concerts a year, many of them sold out.
In 2023, VEGA became the first club-level venue in the world to introduce immersive sound technology in Ideal Bar. This system is used by both established and emerging artists, who experiment with sonic expression through guidance and close collaboration with VEGA’s sound engineers.
