Emma Sehested Høeg swings from the disco ball in VEGA
Emma Sehested Høeg is taking the first steps towards establishing herself as a shining star on the Danish music scene.
In May 2023, Emma Sehested Høeg released her first collection of songs under the title Dame Dearest (Pilot). A release that received praise from both GAFFA and Politiken with the wish for more. She followed this up with a five-star concert in a sold-out Store Vega, where an enthusiastic Soundvenue critic described her infatuation with the concert as an infatuation.
At Heartland, the support for Emma Sehested Høeg's concert on the Diorama stage was so massive that security guards had to shut down the crowd of music lovers for safety reasons. A concert that the Politiken reviewer awarded five stars and described with the headline "As the sun set over Heartland, a star rose".
With a band consisting of some of the country's most talented musicians, Emma Sehested Høeg delivers live concerts where both the drama and musicality are at a particularly high level. The ambitions are sky-high, and the audience can look forward to an evening that manages to push the boundaries of what you can expect from a typical concert experience.
Support: Jonas Visti
For the past 10 years, Jonas Visti has flourished as a versatile figure on the Danish music scene, whether it's in the form of his radio program 'Vistis Vinyler' on Danmarks Radio or as a musician, DJ and emcee at the country's venues, clubs and festivals.
This evening at VEGA, you'll be spun into old vinyls from a bygone era. Back when life was a little warmer, a little browner and a whole lot more sultry.
You'll experience a slightly seductive, mysterious and subdued performance that will be the perfect aural prologue to tonight's concert.
