FAQ - Questions & answers 

If you have lost or forgotten a personal item, you are welcome to contact us at info@vega.dk. All lost or forgotten items are regularly handed in to the Police Lost Property Office, Politigården, 1567 Copenhagen V. The lost property office can be contacted on tel. +45 38 74 88 22. 

There is generally no age limit for concerts and events unless they take place after 24.00 or it is announced at vega.dk. However, we recommend that children and young people under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult. 

In VEGA's cloakroom you can leave your outerwear and larger items. The cloakroom is mandatory for safety reasons at all events in Lille and Store VEGA. Jackets, clothes and other belongings must not be left inside or outside VEGA for the sake of escape routes and fire safety. 

Ideal Bar has lockers that can be used against payment. Use of the lockers at Ideal Bar is voluntary.

The cloakroom fee is payable on arrival and amounts to DKK 35 per jacket or bag. It is possible to pay by credit card in all our venues and cash is accepted until 20.00. The exemption from accepting cash is described in section 81 § of the Danish Payment Act. Loose items such as mobile phones, money, passports, scarves etc. in jacket pockets are at your own risk in VEGA's cloakroom. VEGA will not replace these items. 

At concerts in Store VEGA you also have the opportunity to use our lockers. The fee is DKK 50 and DKK 90 depending on whether you choose a small or large locker. It is not possible to pay with cash if you use a cloakroom locker.

VEGA does not accept cash payments after 8pm. The exemption from accepting cash is described in section 81(3) of the Danish Payment Act. VEGA always accepts standard payment cards including VISA and Mastercard.d.

Smoking is not allowed in any of VEGA's venues. Our smoking policy also applies for e-cigarettes, and we do not sell cigarettes in VEGA. If you are attending a concert in Store VEGA, you can smoke at the entrance to Store VEGA. If you are attending a concert in Lille VEGA or Ideal Bar, smoking takes place on the street.

Enghave Plads metro station is a two-minute walk from VEGA. VEGA is about a fifteen-minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station and a ten-minute walk from Carlsberg S-train station. From Copenhagen Central Station, take line 23 towards Valby St. and stop at Enghave Plads close to VEGA.    

Close to VEGA, by the supermarket at the end of Rejsbygade, there is a public car park with 77 parking spaces. The rules for parking are the same as on the side streets around VEGA, which belong to the blue parking zone, licence zone Enghaveparken.

It is allowed to take pictures with a regular pocket camera and mobile phone at our concerts. Professional or semi-professional cameras with SLR and/or lenses are not permitted, nor is filming the concerts.   

Always follow the security guards' instructions, as there may be different rules for different artists. Also, remember to be considerate of other people attending the concert so that they are not disturbed by your camera use. The images taken may not be used for commercial purposes, but only for private use.  

If you wish to photograph for various projects, this can only be done by agreement with VEGA.

Our concerts are generally standing unless stated otherwise on vega.dk and the ticket.    

In Store VEGA there is a balcony. Whether the balcony is open depends on ticket sales. If few tickets are reported for the concert on vega.dk and in the Facebook event, the balcony will be open.  

There are 150 unnumbered seats on the balcony in Store VEGA, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving as early as possible, preferably when the doors open, if you want a seat on the balcony. If you choose to sit on the balcony, please note that you are not allowed to hang your legs off the balcony. It is not possible to reserve seats in VEGA.

It is also possible to stay on the 1st floor, where the venue is located. Here, in the sidebars before entering the concert venue, there are seating options where it is possible to take a break and rest your legs. You can still hear the music, but there is no direct view of the stage. The doors do not close into the venue, so you can go in and out as you please.

In Lille VEGA, there is a row of sofa seats on one side of the venue. You can also sit on the floor on the small balcony located in the venue.

In Ideal Bar, there is seating along the windows and often chairs are available for free use (except for sold-out shows). 

There are no rules about when you can queue. However, we recommend that you arrive no earlier than two hours before the doors open. For most concerts in VEGA, you can easily find a good spot if you arrive when the doors open.

Each concert in the calendar indicates when the doors open for each concert. Generally, the doors open one hour before the concert starts. However, we recommend that you always check the schedule for each concert - either in the calendar or on the concert's Facebook event. For concerts in VEGA, the doors do not close at any time, but remain open for the duration of the concert. The bars close shortly after the concert is over, and there will be no further activity in the building unless otherwise specified for the event in question.

We ask all our guests to observe the following code of conduct so that the concert experience is pleasant and enjoyable for everyone in the house - guests and staff alike.     

We encourage everyone to have the important conversations after the concert and enjoy the music while it plays - out of respect for the concert's other attendees and the performing musicians.     

It is not allowed to bring food into VEGA's concert halls. We sell various snacks and crisps to satisfy your hunger in our bars. You can always ask for free tap water in the bars. 


VEGA does not accept the consumption of any kind of drugs at our events. If you are caught in violation of this, you will be reported to the police, expelled and banned from VEGA for two years.

At VEGA, we want everyone to have a good and safe concert experience when they visit us, and we acknowledge that mosh pits are a part of concert culture. If you wish to participate in a mosh pit during a concert, we encourage you to be helpful and a good concert companion if someone falls during a mosh pit.   

Always follow the VEGA security guards' instructions regarding safety.   

It is not possible to bring banners to VEGA's concerts.    

Everyone should feel welcome and safe in VEGA. Therefore, we operate according to a zero tolerance policy: We do not accept violent/threatening behavior or verbal harassment. We do not accept discrimination or hate speech based on gender, race, religion, appearance or sexual orientation. Please contact our staff if you see or experience this. We do not accept clothing with hateful or racist messages. Such items can be requested to be left in the cloakroom at the entrance. 

All of VEGA's venues have bars where you can enrich your concert experience. Here you'll find an exciting, wide selection of everything from draught beer, bottled beer, snacks, soft drinks and colourful long drinks to wine from local suppliers and tasty speciality beers from breweries in Denmark and abroad.    

Of course, you can also enjoy a cold draught beer from the many Tuborg taps the bars are equipped with. We also have non-alcoholic beers in our bars.   

In our bars you can pay with Visa, Mastercard and Dankort.  VEGA does not accept cash after 20:00. The exemption from accepting cash is described in section 81§ of the Danish Payments Act.

If you want to buy tickets or have questions about tickets you have already purchased, you need to contact the ticket provider. We have three of them.

Tickets are refunded at the point of purchase. If your tickets were purchased by credit card, the ticket price will be automatically refunded to your account within 14 days. Tickets are refundable (minus fees) only if the concert is canceled or rescheduled.

If you are prevented from using your concert ticket, we always recommend reselling it via our ticket providers' official sales platforms to avoid ticket scams.

If you want to be absolutely sure you are buying a genuine and valid ticket to VEGA's concerts, we strongly recommend that you buy your ticket through VEGA's website or the ticket agencies that VEGA works with and links to from the website - Ticketmaster, Billetlugen and Unitedtickets. We advise you NOT to use a ticketing site such as ViaGoGo.

We can scan both printed tickets and tickets on a smartphone. Remember to turn up the screen light on your phone.  

If a concert is canceled, tickets are automatically refunded from the ticket provider where they were purchased. There are many factors that need to be in place before an extra concert can be created or a concert can be rescheduled. Firstly, the artist must be interested in it. Secondly, the date/venue must be available in VEGA. This may include reservations from other artists. Thirdly, the artist must have room in their tour schedule to give an extra concert. 

Delight your loved ones with a specially designed VEGA gift card of any value. Gift cards for concert tickets can only be purchased through our ticket providers, Ticketmaster and Billetlugen.   

If you are already looking at a specific concert, it might be a good idea to check where the tickets are sold so that the recipient doesn't miss out. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to sell a gift card that can be used across our ticket providers. 

When a concert is listed as sold out on the VEGA website, it means that there are no more tickets available neither in presale or at the door.    

When a concert is sold out, a waiting list is sometimes created. If you are on the waiting list for a concert, you will be contacted if tickets become available for the concert. This may happen if more tickets become available, for example, if the venue is moved to a larger hall or if an extra concert is created.     

It is not possible to sell tickets to people on a waiting list. Instead, it is possible to sell tickets you don't need via the ticket resale platforms of the ticket providers.

If you want to purchase a larger number of tickets for a group or school class, please contact the ticket provider's customer service.

You can buy a ticket at the door on the day of the concert, if the concert is not sold out. Our cloakroom staff will sell and issue the ticket to you. 

VEGA is not part of the companion scheme; however, we have reserved a limited number of companion seats for each concert. If there is a vacant companion seat, it is possible to bring a companion to the concert for free. This needs to be arranged before the concert and before purchasing a ticket by contacting VEGA at info@vega.dk. A valid companion card must be presented at the door.

There are no dedicated wheelchair tickets for sale; you can purchase a regular ticket and be assisted to your seat by the staff – read more under 

VEGA's venues are located on the 1st floor and are accessible by lift. For fire safety reasons, wheelchairs are not allowed on the balcony (2nd floor) in Store VEGA.  There are a limited number of parking spaces in the area around VEGA reserved for people with disabilities. 

Upon arrival at VEGA, please contact VEGA's security staff if you are a disabled/wheelchair user. They will assist you to the venues using lifts or ramps, depending on your needs.  In Store VEGA, the back third of the floor can be raised for better visibility. From here, we recommend wheelchair users to attend the concert.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer a similar solution in Lille VEGA, but we recommend that you arrive when the doors open to get a position with optimal visibility.  

Toilets for the disabled are located in the corridor between Lille- and Store VEGA on the same level as the venues. Contact our security staff and they will show you where the toilet is.  VEGA is located in Folkets Hus, which is a listed building. Therefore, there are some restrictions on what changes and additions we can make to the building in terms of more disability-friendly solutions. We strive to give all concertgoers a good experience within VEGA's framework.  

Contact us at info@vega.dk for further questions before the concert. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the staff on the evening of the concert.  

If you are going to a concert in Store VEGA and tickets are few or sold out, the balcony will be open. There are approximately 150 unnumbered seats, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.     

In Lille VEGA you will find a long sofa row on the left side of the theatre. In case the row is occupied, you are welcome to take a seat on the floor on the small balcony. It is also possible to rest your legs in the side bar in Lille VEGA, as long as it is open for the concert in question.    

In Ideal Bar, there is seating along the windows and often chairs are available for free use - this does not apply to sold-out shows.    

If you want a seat, we encourage you to come when the doors open. This applies to all concerts across VEGA's three venues.  

If you have special needs, we recommend that you arrive early. This way, you will be able to position yourself in the venue where you feel most comfortable.  If you have a sunflower lanyard, we recommend that it is visible. This way, our staff will be aware that you have special needs. You can always approach the staff on the night if you have any questions or need help. 

Before the concert, you can write to us at info@vega.dk if you have questions that are not answered here. 

It is not allowed to bring food and drinks to events in VEGA. If you need to bring a small snack or sugary liquid for health reasons, please contact us at info@vega.dk well in advance of the concert. This gives us the best chance of notifying the evening's staff. 

Our trained security staff is present during all concerts. If you experience anything unpleasant during a concert, don't hesitate to approach the staff.  

VEGA operates a zero tolerance policy. We do not accept discrimination based on gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, as well as violent behaviour or verbal harassment. Please contact our staff if you see or experience this. 

People with photosensitive epilepsy should be aware that there may be strobe or flashing lights at concerts in VEGA. Unfortunately, VEGA is not able to announce in advance whether this will be the case for a particular concert. Often we will not know until the day of the concert, and in some cases not at all, if flashing lights are part of the artist's lighting for the concert.

Sound and technology - world class sound experiences 

Sound and light are essential elements of a great concert experience. We are proud that all three of our venues are packed with the highest quality sound equipment. The sound equipment is tested and selected specifically for the architecture of the rooms to ensure the most optimal sound experience for everyone.  

The sound system in Store VEGA is designed to optimise the sound no matter where you are in the room. The system has been carefully selected to give you the best possible concert experience whether you are standing on the floor or sitting on the balcony. The sound system is from d&b and fulfils all tasks, styles and genres in the beautiful space. Store VEGA has been recognised as one of the best-sounding concert spaces in Europe.  



Lille VEGA, like Store VEGA, is characterised by the euphony and friendly sound of wood. Lille VEGA's sound system is designed according to the same principles as Store VEGA's and the system is also from d&b.  


Ideal Bar is VEGA's present stage. The speaker system is from Funktion-One and is a 9.1.4 immersive system. It can play stereo, but also envelop the audience in sound from all angles.
