Less than a year after releasing their debut album, Canadian duo ROMES are already gearing up for their next chapter. On 11 March 2027, they’ll bring their explosive live show to Lille VEGA.

Fresh off a successful European tour, ROMES are hitting the road again – this time with a brand-new live show and a new album on the way, set for release in summer 2027.

Their debut album, SONIC TRASH, released in November 2025, channels the raw, rebellious energy of the bloghouse era, fusing it with a distinctly modern electronic sound.

As online music magazine Distorted Sound Magazine puts it:

“[ROMES] sits somewhere between The Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails and Pendulum, and have hit somewhere between nostalgia and contemporary so perfectly, it’s infectiously good listening.”

Never ones to follow the rules, ROMES have carved out their own path with a fiercely independent DIY approach. From production and mastering to artwork and music videos, they do it all themselves. The result is a sound entirely their own, built on gritty synths, pounding beats and the untamed energy of rock.

On stage, expect a high-voltage mix of original tracks, unexpected mashups and remixes of artists such as Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers and Faithless – all driven by a live setup that puts musicianship front and centre.

Hypnotic four-on-the-floor beats can give way to explosive rock riffs in the blink of an eye. One minute, you’re lost on the dancefloor; the next, you’re right in the middle of a mosh pit.
