VEGA LAB - An experimental exhibition space for the live scene
With a dedicated space, VEGA LAB gives the audience access to new experiences and artists access to the technology and the opportunity to experiment and explore new ways to compose, exhibit, and present their works. The ambition for VEGA LAB is that the platform and the physical VEGA LAB space work alongside VEGA's regular concert program, but also in synergy, where touring artists are invited to experiment.

VEGA LAB explores the boundaries between tech, sound, and video formats in pursuit of works that expand and develop the concert experience and the sphere around live music
VEGA LAB works with immersive experiences. The room's 360-degree setup in both sound and image allows the audience to move around the space and have an active, self-selected experience based on where they move.
The space, which is recreated from exhibition to exhibition depending on who is experimenting in the space, allows for real-time generated video and audio. The works can change depending on how the audience interacts with physical props, moves around the space, or even acts on their social media channels. The possibilities and activities vary from exhibition to exhibition, from work to work, from artist to artist, and especially from audience to audience.
