After a sold-out concert in Ideal Bar, Chris Burton takes the next step and takes over Lille VEGA on December 8 with his new, ambitious project.

The up-and-coming musician has really made a name for himself with P3's Uundgåelig single "Folk Forsvinder" as well as a number of strong Danish-language releases. And the audience can look forward to a concert where vulnerability, presence and great musical ambitions merge.

After several years behind the scenes as a songwriter for some of Denmark's biggest names, Chris Burton is now back at the forefront.

He describes the new project as the culmination of several years of reflection and an honest portrait of him as both a person and a musician. The music revolves around relationships, breakups, and choosing yourself, even when it hurts.

The single “Døgnfluer” followed on from “Folk Forsvinder”, which depicts an ex-girlfriend and the slow realization of drifting apart. Most recently, he is currently working on “Handler Ik' Om Dig Mer” together with Mille – a meeting between two artistic universes that are united in an honest and present expression without filter.

2026 has already offered significant live moments with support for Østen, a performance at the GAFFA Award, a visit to Go' Morgen Danmark and an upcoming concert at SPOT Festival.

And with a sold-out concert at Ideal Bar behind him, Chris Burton is now returning to VEGA as the frontman of his own project.
