After more than a decade in the Copenhagen hip-hop underground, NATKAT is now ready to take the spotlight at Store VEGA on April 14, 2027.

After several years of silence, 2026 was the year when the Danish hip-hop duo, NATKAT, became relevant again.

Because with a vinyl release in the spring and a brand new album in October, one can say that NATKAT is back to a certain extent.

The new album is titled Løber fra fortiden and is a collection of rock-solid hip-hop tracks. Through raw, sample-based productions, NATKAT takes the listener on a journey to after-parties, inflamed childhood memories and tales of self-destruction – all in an old-school hip-hop universe.

In 2019, the duo performed at Roskilde Festival, where Soundvenue was very enthusiastic about their energetic performance. The music media gave them four stars and wrote:

“It was a triumph for NATKAT, who after today's concert can be said to have stepped straight out of the Copenhagen underground and onto the national hip-hop scene as a name that should not be ignored. So their music may not be that artistically innovative – but it is damn well-crafted and effective.”

NATKAT consists of producer Floppykat and rapper Frej Le Funk and has built up a near cult status since 2014. With roots in 90s hip hop and a unique universe of dark jazz, heavy drums and cinematic soundscapes, the duo has created their very own place on the Danish music scene.

On April 14, NATKAT will share their entire discography in a large-scale live show, where they will give free rein to their funky and dark universe at Store VEGA.
