It can be said very briefly. ROYA are no longer headed for the stars. They are the stars.

With their intimate universe of house-inspired pop music - packed with electronic drums and effect-filled vocals - they have achieved international fame like few other Danish artists before them.

It all started with a video clip: A small snippet of the single “Ain't Just A Game” was shared in a video on TikTok, and interest in ROYA exploded. Shortly after, the single “Cruise” was released, catapulting the Aarhus duo to global success overnight.

A year after the release of “Cuise,” the mega-hit has amassed more than 44 million streams across various streaming platforms, the duo has more than 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 2.5 million followers across their social media.

In October 2024, Line Gade and Sebastian Igens, the two artists behind ROYA, played at Store VEGA for the first time. They did so for the concert format Verden Venter, where VEGA's bookers select Danish artists who are ready for a career abroad. Since then, ROYA has been on a European tour, where all concerts have been sold out.

After touring Europe, the euphoric pop duo returns to Store VEGA with club-dark electropop, experimental vocal productions and infectious melodies.
