In the fall, the masked hip-hop duo, Smøgmænd , made their live debut with sold-out concerts at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen and Volume Village in Aarhus.

Now, just four months later, they announce the biggest concert of their career at Store VEGA on September 12th.

Smøgmænd have, with porcelain-like masks, occult-inspired rap and lyrical madness, built a very special aesthetic and sound that has created both a solid fan base and enthusiastic reviews at Soundvenue.

In January Soundvenue proclaimed Smøgmænd as one of the 10 hip-hop names to watch out for in 2026 and wrote: “Nobody sounds like Smøgmænd. Nobody. The closest comparison that can describe this obscure rap duo is if you crossed Malk De Koijn with Jpegmafia and Yeat.”

Smøgmænd released their debut album in May last year, Broderløfte (2025), and already in September the album sequel landed, Misha (2025). Those releases were not to be left alone for too long, because the third project Isfugl (2026) was already published in January this year.

The duo is therefore gaining momentum in musical production and with each release, Smøgmænd proves just how unique they are on the Danish music scene with song titles such as “Hjort i eget bed”, “Pjerrot Kompleks” and “Skyttegravsfod”.

The audience can therefore expect an evening that replaces one's classic expectations of a hip-hop concert with masks, mystery and musical magic.
