American synthwave duo New Constellations are ready to take the next big step in their career with the announcement of their debut album, It Comes in Waves, which will be released on May 15, 2026.

As a small musical preview, they have released the sparkling singles “I Disappear” and “Dandelion.” The music revolves around themes such as identity, anxiety and relationships, combining heartfelt personal stories with an atmospheric and retro-inspired soundscape.

It Comes in Waves Written over a three-year period, the album reflects life's strange and unpredictable rollercoaster rides - from love and hope to doubt and change. The duo, consisting of singer Harlee Case and multi-instrumentalist Josh Smith, have since their breakthrough established themselves as one of the most exciting new voices in modern synth and dream pop.

New Constellations has developed a distinctive sound universe characterized by dreamy synthesizers, strong melodies and honest lyrics.

The duo had a massive breakthrough with their debut single “Hot Blooded” in 2021, which has since achieved 140 million streams and cemented their position on the international synthwave scene.
