With their critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated album Good Together in the back, are the playful genre mixers from Lake Street Dive ready to make its way to Store VEGA. The album marks a musical high point for the band, and was created in collaboration with star producer Mike Elizondo.

Good Together is an uplifting and genre-diverse work, where themes such as community, empathy and resilience are unfolded with the characteristic "joyful rebellion" that Lake Street Dive has made their trademark. On the album The band explores new timbres and playfully moves between R&B, funk and Brazilian pop, all rooted in melodic and artisanal excess.

Lake Street Dive formed in 2004 at the Boston Conservatory of Music. Since then, the five members Rachael Price (vocals), Bridget Kearney (bass), Mike Calabrese (drums), Akie Bermiss (keyboards/vocals) and James Cornelison (guitar) have created a unique musical community where virtuosity, warmth and exuberant energy go hand in hand.

The band has played major headline concerts in their home country, including at the coveted Madison Square Garden in New York. On Danish soil, the band is also quite at home, with a number of concerts over their almost 20 years of existence under their belt.

On stage, they are known for their exceptional musicianship and ability to create a real sense of togetherness among the audience, and in September they are ready to take over Store Vega to once again enchant the audience with their warm energy and musical prowess.
