Cat Power brings "The Greatest" to Store VEGA
Cat Powe r returns to Copenhagen with a rare and special show when she takes over Store VEGA on October 11 with a full-length set dedicated to her landmark album The Greatest.
The iconic 2006 work marks a high point in Cat Power's career as a timeless fusion of soul, Americana and her own signature melancholy. To mark the album's 20th anniversary, she now performs The Greatest in its entirety.
The Copenhagen show will be a celebration of an album that redefined Cat Power's sound and cemented her position as one of the most influential voices in modern indie and alternative rock. The Greatest was recorded in Memphis with some of the city's most legendary musicians and brought a new, soulful warmth to her universe.
