Somewhere between Cologne and South India lies KESHAVARA their very own musical universe.

Here, krautpop, psychedelic soundtracks and Western as well as South Indian musical traditions merge into a colorful sound kaleidoscope, where English, German and Tamil coexist.

This fall, the German-Indian band will be releasing their fourth album, Moondram Sevi – which is Tamil for “the third ear.” The album unfolds a dreamy borderland between memory and imagination; the record is inspired by childhood Kollywood films, psychedelic visions and pure musical curiosity.

The new songs combine 12-string guitars, soaring string sounds, and grooves that hark back to the golden age of funk. The result is equal parts exotic sonic journey and danceable pop magic.

Since the release of the album III (2024) KESHAVARA has played across Europe at festivals and tours with the likes of Khruangbin and Grandbrothers. The band has built a reputation as one of the most original voices on the European psych-pop scene with concerts that unite music, storytelling and visual imagination.

On November 2, KESHAVARA will take over Ideal Bar with their lavish universe of dreamy melodies, psychedelic grooves and boundless adventure.
