The November darkness is kept at bay by Naja Rosa in Lille VEGA
For April, the publisher Naja Rosa his fifth solo album and is once again ready to fill the country's venues with his poetic pop and soul inspired songs.
The upcoming release, which is the album follow-up to 2022's Closer To The Sun, resonates in an acoustic soundscape and places the soulful, the honest and the present as a supporting force. Partly in the more stripped-down compositions of the soundscape and partly in the text universe's reflection of the time and the world as it is today.
A preview of the April release has arrived in the form of the single “If Only Love Could Save Us”, which was released last November. The single is a musical testimony from a world where madness seems to have taken over, and in the song Rosa sings a crystal clear message that only with the help of love can we turn towards light and hope.
On “If Only Love Could Save Us,” a laid-back and superior backdrop of acoustic guitar, drums, and wind instruments supports Naja Rosa's virtuoso and longing vocals.
Naja Rosa Koppel has had music close to her heart since childhood. Rosa grew up as the daughter of Annisette and Thomas Koppel and has composed, recorded and been a major part of the continuation of The Savage Rose for the past 20 years.
She has toured extensively with the band and played on stages such as Roskilde Festival's Orange Stage, and in November the audience can look forward to hearing new songs from Rosa's ever-growing repertoire. It will be an evening where music sparkles in an otherwise dark November sky.
