When VEGA turns 30 in September 2026, the anniversary will be marked with a birthday party like no other. On Friday, September 4, VEGA and Hess Is More invite the audience inside for Apollonian Circles – VEGA 30th Birthday Celebration: a staged concert experience where music, scenography and audience merge into one large, collective celebration.

Apollonian Circles is created by Hess Is More and has since 2019 developed into a circular concert format, where the audience is invited very close to the musicians and becomes part of the musical circuit. The music moves in the field between orchestral experimental pop, collective improvisation and rhythmic trance, where repetitions slowly build intensity. The musicians react to each other and the audience, and the music arises in the moment as a shared, bodily experience.

Store VEGA is transformed for an evening into a living feast. In the middle of the hall is a long table that functions as a stage and gathering point. The instruments are part of the setting, the musicians sit around the table, and the audience stands close together and becomes an active part of the party. Here, there is no clear separation between stage and hall; the music arises in the community and grows, just like at a party. At first subdued and expectant, then more insistent, until it all tips over into dance, ecstasy and loving chaos.

To Apollonian Circles – VEGA 30th Birthday Celebration you arrive in a room that bears traces of a party that may have already taken place: empty bottles, crumpled tablecloths, the silence after the night. Through lights, scenography, costumes and performative elements, the birthday party is reborn together with the audience and develops into a sensual, shared movement where no one can stand still.

For VEGA's 30th birthday, the Apollonian universe invites a number of special guest soloists to the party who will contribute to the party's musical and performative diversity. Among the invited guest soloists are Jeuru, Mette Lindberg and Henrik Vibskov, but invitations have been sent out to more guest soloists, which will be announced on an ongoing basis.

The concert is a tribute to VEGA as a concert hall for three decades, to music as a meeting place, and to the special magic that occurs when we let go together. An invitation to celebrate history, the present, and community.

Because as they say in the Apollonian universe: You don't dance because you're happy. You're happy because you dance.
