With a finely woven web of atmospheric guitar riffs, soaring melodies and heartfelt lyrical lines, musical soulmates Andrea Thuesen (Baby in Vain) and Vilhelm Strange (Liss) deliver eminent indie pop to the heart's content.

The love child is called snuggle , and the band has moved at rocket speed from the DIY underground in Copenhagen to the larger Danish music scenes in the past few years.

The two musicians found an immediate symbiosis as schoolmates at the Copenhagen Academy of Rhythmic Music, where they bonded over long jam sessions. With snuggle, the two musicians have found a creative shelter from the driving rain of life. Through their atmospheric and analog productions, the duo doses existential fear with equal parts humor and poetry.

In October last year, their critically acclaimed debut album was released, Goodbyehouse, on the leading Danish record label Escho. The songs were written during a period of great change in the lives of the two musicians: a local café, where Thuesen worked for almost a decade, closed, the home where Strange grew up, was sold, both experienced heartbreak and breakups. The changes became the focus of the album: A melancholic farewell to the safe and familiar surroundings mixed with a trembling excitement for uncharted territory. Andrea Thuesen explains in the press release:

"You don't really know what awaits on the other side, so you're a little excited. But it's also scary and melancholic, I like that same feeling in music too."

Goodbyehouse has received countless stars and praise from home and abroad. Pitchfork gave the album a score of 7.3 and wrote enthusiastically: “Unlike so many of its neo-shoegaze peers, the Danish duo has no interest in sugarcoating its feelings—its sweetly melodic dream pop hides a wellspring of existential angst.”
