NORDIC PLUS - Liveurope Festival 2026
On December 3rd, there will be musical northern lights in Lille VEGA when four of Scandinavia's most promising names put a strong emphasis on their talent at the NORDIC PLUS - Liveurope Festival 2026 festival.
The Nordic underground is vibrating. NORDIC PLUS is a recurring concert evening dedicated to new music from the Nordics. The program is put together by VEGA's program team in close collaboration with international partners and seeks to present some of the expressions and trends that are most interesting in the Nordic underground right now.
The first edition of NORDIC PLUS is subtitled Liveurope Festival 2026. Liveurope Festival is an annual event that takes place at a new venue in a new country every year. VEGA is, together with 24 other independent venues, a member of the Liveurope platform, which aims to strengthen the focus on and conditions for new European talent.
NORDIC PLUS / Liveurope Festival 2026 is supported by Liveurope and co-financed by the European Union.
Glayden
Finnish singer, songwriter and DJ, Glayden, embodies the cold melancholy and fragile optimism that characterize his hometown, Helsinki.
His music finds unexpected connections between genres and subcultures, and sits at the intersection of catchy songwriting and experimental soundscapes. A sample from the band Children of Bodom meets vocal lines borrowed from Madonna. It's just one thread in a patchwork that creates a lush musical landscape.
Kaoroo
The 26-year-old songwriter Kaoroo has experienced an almost explosive rise since he released his first tracks a little over a year ago.
His unique blend of drum and bass, rock, hip hop and jungle – which he calls “JUNGLE PUNK” – brings a breath of fresh air to the Norwegian music scene. With an unrivaled sense of melody and an infectious energy, Kaoroo is a name you will surely hear a lot more of in the coming years.
de clair.
Behind the name de clair. is the Swedish songwriter Clara Rudelius. She is an artist whose strong, yet vulnerable voice carries her music with a rare degree of presence.
de clair. delivers beautiful and heartfelt arrangements that meet honest and sometimes provocative lyrics that explore global injustices, friendship, memories and love.
Her 2024 debut, Hiding Mountains in the Palm of My Hand, received critical acclaim worldwide. The following year saw an extensive tour with appearances alongside names such as Amanda Bergman, Augustine, waterbaby and Ellen Krauss.
Spawner
Three singles and a critically acclaimed debut album have been released by the up-and-coming indie rock trio Spawner last year. Their debut album, Air is Getting Stranger (2025), in particular, has caught the attention of critics - both domestically and internationally. GAFFA writes about the debut album:
“Spawner belongs to the genre of indie bands that can make you hallucinate about an extra member. Because even though the music on their debut album, Air is Getting Stranger, often consists of sweeping guitar landscapes, thundering drumming and ethereal vocal harmonies, there are only three musicians in the band.”
Spawner is Ella Moreno Risell, Johan Danø Hoffmann and Jonas Engell, and the three members themselves say about the project that it is an investigation into how one can create a common fourth through the three-part system. An investigation that opens up as dense vocal harmonies that buzz with folk and country, and that twist and turn between punk and grunge-inspired riffs.
