Ska-punk's indomitable party machine is coming to Store VEGA
With new music in store, you're in for an evening of high-energy beats, big choruses and pure punk rock euphoria. Forget about standing still with your arms crossed. When The Interrupters goes on stage, the audience inevitably becomes part of the party.
With Aimee Interrupter in the front and the Bivona brothers Kevin, Justin and Jesse on guitar, bass and drums respectively, the Californian quartet transforms the concert hall into a boiling gathering point, where singing, pogo and furious rhythms go hand in hand. Here, punk rock is not just something you listen to – it is something you feel in your whole body.
Since forming in Los Angeles in 2011, The Interrupters have crafted their own signature cocktail of uncompromising punk rock, infectious ska grooves and catchy melodies. Drawing inspiration from the 90s punk rock wave and the legendary 2 Tone ska movement, they have developed a sound that fuses the genre's roots with a fresh, modern energy.
At the center of the band is Aimee Interrupter, whose charismatic vocals and stage presence give the band's music both edge and character. The result is a concert experience that feels equal parts dance party, sweaty workout, and collective redemption.
With Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong as their mentor and producer, The Interrupters have been closely connected to the punk rock tradition from the beginning. Their debut album The Interrupters from 2014 was followed by Say It Out Loud(2016),Fight the Good Fight(2018) and In the Wild (2022). The latter featured, among other things, “She's Kerosene”, one of the band's most famous songs.
Along the way, the quartet has toured extensively and shared the stage with punk rock heavyweights like Rancid, Bad Religion and Green Day. Now new winds are blowing from Los Angeles.
On October 8, 2026, The Interrupters released the single “Warrior Spirit,” which combines the band's familiar ska-punk drive with inspiration from 80s new wave. The song was created in collaboration with, among others, Tim Armstrong, Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy, Travis Barker of blink-182 and Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion. At the same time, the band's fifth studio album is on the way, although the title and release date have not yet been announced.
When The Interrupters hits Store VEGA on June 21, 2027, both well-known favorites and new musical chapters are in store.
