In October 2026, brakence released marroW, his first album in four years. Across its 18 tracks, brakence gives the guitars plenty of room to breathe and reveals new sides to his songwriting.

On “Problem Child”, a sweet guitar riff and lively drums drive the song forward, while “death rolL” moves between rap, alternative rock and electronic dance music. His personal storytelling ties it all together.

There is a lot at stake in brakence’s music. The bass pushes forward, the electronics flicker, and at the centre of it all is a voice that brings us remarkably close to the singer himself, even in the most densely layered productions.

Behind the name is Randall Findell from Ohio. With his 2020 album punk2, he began to attract serious attention, and on 2022’s hypochondriac, his distinctive blend of electronic restlessness and raw, vulnerable lyrics grew into a fully realised musical universe.

On June 1, brakence invites audiences to Store VEGA for an evening of distorted guitars, restless beats and songs that feel like reading someone else’s diary.
