In 2024, the musician's EP was released, American RomanceThe EP is produced by David Baron, who has previously been in the music control room for stars such as Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers and Shania Twain.
On American Romance Marcagi explores the emotions that can be associated with growing up in the Midwest region of the United States; with all that it entails in terms of moods, impressions and religiosity; all to create a musical tableau of the cracks in human relationships.

This year, Michael Marcagi is once again releasing an EP, Midwest KidOn the EP, Marcagi collects the hand-played bars from American Romance and continues his ear for forging musical hits that fuse the singer-songwriter genre with shattering, honest lyrics.
