Mouritz/Hørslev Projektet 's concert in Lille VEGA has been sold out for several months, which is why the band is now announcing one of their biggest concerts to date. At the concert, Mads Mouritz will be flanked by the band that has helped make all of the project's records. Lone Hørslev is not on stage – but in the lyrics and in spirit.

The project has just released the song "Vanvid Og Lys", their first new song in years. Lone Hørslev has written some of the most personal novels and poetry collections of recent times. In Mouritz/Hørslev Projektet, poetry becomes unforgettable Danish song gems, and since their debut in 2007, the duo, in collaboration with a permanent star-studded team of musicians, has released four albums that live out there in the minds of more and more Danes.

Mouritz provides a backdrop of rock and pop for the black-haired author's humorous and poetic depictions of love, forest fires and concerns about Trump, mercury and surveillance. Stylistically, the band covers a wide range. In some places the music is reminiscent of sweet Danish 80s pop, in other places there is no doubt that a comprehensive range of competent forces from the rock underground are lending a hand in the project. Quirky, funny and surprisingly musical – heart-pounding evergreens whose appeal extends much further than to the literary salons.

The project's latest album, Lykkelige Mennesker, was released in 2021, where the single "Termodragten" has gradually developed into a regular radio hit, just as the song today has over 1 million streams on Spotify.

Mouritz/Hørslev Projektet, whose music was previously described by critics as audio poetry, has thus suddenly entered the world of mainstream pop music, where a new generation of young fans have embraced the now extensive song catalog. It is therefore only fitting that the Mouritz/Hørslev Projektet today announces the concert in Store VEGA.

They have with them the material from Lykkelige Mennesker, the biggest songs from the back catalogue as well as their brand new single "Vanvid Og Lys" which has just been released.
