De Danske Hyrder turn the key with a farewell party in VEGA

After 12 years in unforgettable company with De Danske Hyrder , the party is over – almost. A significant end is in order when one of the country's biggest party starters says goodbye. With their fifth and final album Hovedet ud af vinduet, which will be released in 2025, DDH will have their end in Store VEGA on August 23.

Youth, friendships, good times and the general hubbub of the boyhood life. De Danske Hyrder have made an impression on Danish youth for 12 years and it is precisely these topics that have always ensured good vibes and happy days in their recognizable back catalogue. With everything from the classics "Billige Bajer", "15 år", "Med Mine Drenge" and the newer "Live All You Can" and "2nul10", which together have garnered many millions of streams on Spotify alone, there is something for every taste that is guaranteed to get the dance floor going.

They gather in droves when De Danske Hyrder call for an epic party. A mantra that has resonated clearly across the countless festivals and club stages, to energetic and sweaty live shows where the boys have found themselves throughout much of their youth. Times have changed, but the shepherd mentality and the urge for a great party have not.

“After 12 years of dedication to music and community, with countless unforgettable concert experiences with you, DDH is stopping indefinitely. We started with our first release in 2013 - the same year we graduated from high school - and it will all end with a fifth and final album and a huge farewell concert in 2025 - the same year the last of the boys has had a child.”

On August 23rd the group will turn the key with a huge party in the best shepherd style. Expect a present, sweat-dripping, moving and energetic live show that will take you through the entire era of De Danske Hyrder.

Support: William Quist + DJ Ave Maria

William Quist:
William Quist is a Danish artist who blends hip hop and pop into an innovative cocktail. His music takes the listener on a relatable journey through topics such as finding one's place in life and finding true love – but also losing it again.

DJ Ave Maria:

Heartbreak led her to the dance floor – bad playlists made her stay. Ave Maria started DJing to give the night the soundtrack it deserves: UK garage, raw baile funk, groovy house and sunny Afro vibes. Since moving from Esbjerg to Copenhagen, she has not only found her rhythm, but also new friends, with whom she now DJs.
