In just a few years, Kneecap has created enormous international attention with their unique blend of razor-sharp hip-hop, the Irish language and political activism. On September 3rd and 4th, 2025, the aforementioned trio can be experienced live at Store VEGA.

Kneecap, which consists of the two rappers Mo Chara and Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí, is one of the most talked about rap groups of the moment.

With their no-nonsense style and linguistic fusion of Irish and English, they have set dance floors and debates ablaze worldwide. This was evident at the NorthSide Festival in Aarhus earlier this summer, where the trio delivered an energetic and uncompromising concert that had the audience boiling under the tent. Soundvenue gave the concert 5 out of 6 stars and called it “a euphoric release”.

Earlier this year, the Belfast group released the acclaimed album Fine Art, produced by Toddla T and featuring guest appearances from Grian Chatten and Radie Peat, among others. The album takes place over a heady night in and around the fictional pub The Rutz and combines humor, hedonism and everyday realism with equal parts satire and social criticism.

Kneecaps' music is both furious, brave, humorous and deeply rooted in contemporary Northern Ireland - with an impact that reaches far beyond the borders of Belfast. They have established themselves as one of Europe's most uncompromising and captivating live acts, and Danish fans can now look forward to experiencing the group live over two nights in Store VEGA in September.
