With frost-bitten death metal tones, monumental riffs, and themes of isolation and suffering, Frozen Soul is a treat for audiences who are in no hurry for spring to arrive or for summer’s long, bright nights to return.

This year, the band are releasing their new album, No Place of Warmth, whose 11 tracks guide listeners through a frost-covered sonic landscape, featuring guest appearances from Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and fellow genre heavyweights Sanguisugabogg. Heavymetal.dk wrote the following about the release:

“No Place of Warmth confirms that Frozen Soul still know how to create a universe where icy coldness and horror aesthetics go hand in hand.”

Frontman Chad Green describes in a press release how the band’s sound and lyrics come together to create something greater. He says:

“The feeling I’m getting from playing in Frozen Soul is powerful in a way I wasn’t getting from other bands I’ve played in before. The sound. The lyrics. Even the logo itself has a harshness to it that just feels powerful and cold. Add to that the depression of dealing with real life and the venomous people that can inhabit it and the vibe of the band just makes sense”.

Frozen Soul formed in 2018 and have quickly made a name for themselves and left their mark on the metal scene with a sound that draws on bands such as Obituary, Mortician, and Bolt Thrower.

With powerful and incredibly precise riffs, Frozen Soul will smash through the sound barrier with their death metal sledgehammer at Lille VEGA on a dark February night at the beginning of next year.
