English partystarters set fire to VEGA
After a 6-star concert at this year's Roskilde Festival, Getdown Services will return to Denmark when they visit Store VEGA on March 12, 2027.

That's how flattering the words were when GAFFA's reviewer awarded Getdown Services' concert at Roskilde Festival a maximum of 6 stars. The British duo's performance at Dyrskuepladsen was a superb demonstration of why their minimalist, yet catchy DIY party punk is riding a rising wave of popularity and excitement.
“Britain's Best Band” is what childhood friends Josh Law and Ben Sadler have called themselves – not without the infectious humour that their musical universe is rich on. Musically, they send loving nods to Sleaford Mods, LCD Soundsystem and Viagra Boys, while their lyrics deal with topics as diverse as chips, dog drool and banging your head into a radiator.
Getdown Services recently released their second album, which they wrote, recorded and mixed themselves. It has the delightfully tongue-in-cheek title Massive Champion and was released on August 14th.
On this occasion, Getdown Services will return to Denmark next spring, where on March 12, 2027, they will fill Store VEGA with pumping beats, bouncing beer bellies and anarchistic energy.
