Cumbia, psychedelic surf rock and fiery dance floors! Los Bitchos stamp their mark with intoxicating live energy and distinctive instrumental rock music. And when they open their fusion universe, mixing Argentine cumbia, Peruvian chicka and Turkish psych into an irresistible surf rock cocktail that can make even the driest hips dance to agile steps.

The trio, which today consists of Western Australian Serra Petale (guitar), Swedish Josefine Jonsson (bass) and Englishman Nic Crashaw (drums), has an impressive back catalogue behind them.

Among others, the album Let The Festivities Begin!(2022), produced by Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos, featuring the hit “Pista (Fresh Start)” – which has been called “an ideal soundtrack for a sunny day at the beach” by music magazine Soundvenue.

When the multinational and sunshine-taming instrumental trio hits VEGA on February 15th, they'll be coming in with both a back catalogue and a brand new album,Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1, which will be released on November 3, 2026.

Their third album is based on the band members' belief that both life and art only get better when people meet and learn from each other. That's why this time the instrumental experts have kicked open the door and invited a long list of guest soloists to join the record.

Among them are singer and harmonica player Ambrose Kenny-Smith (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard) on the dramatic, guitar-driven single 'Holding Cell'. The track stands as a rhythmic warning that the audience can now polish off both their dancing shoes and their vocal cords before one of Los Bitcho's infamous and energetic concerts.
