Under the name MADSEN Johnny Madsen's son follows in his father's footsteps and ignites a present and beautiful mix of raw honesty, poetic thoughtfulness, and a bit of West Jutland humor.

He has his regular band with him, joined by three eminent choir singers. Together they lift his lyrics about life, loss, hope and love to the highest levels with both magnificent arrangements and quiet moments of pure musical magic.

MADSEN has received glowing reviews for his captivating concerts. Berlingske awarded the band six stars for their performance and an unforgettable evening at Gamle Scene in the Danish Royal Theatre.

Rasmus Madsen, who is himself among the country's finest guitarists, has assembled a strong team of musicians who have all performed on stage with both father and son. The tour has been titled Ud Med Knud, referring to Johnny Madsen's teasing of his regular sidekick and guitar master Knud Møller, who now unfolds his divine riffs with his son.
