Bristol-based DJ and producer Rob Penny has spent more than a decade shaping his own sound, with deep roots in British club culture. From his first DJ jobs with jump-up drum and bass on vinyl, NOTION has developed an energetic expression where heavy bass lines, rapid tempo changes and melodic moments constantly collide.

His big breakthrough came with his remix of Chrystal's "The Days." The song exploded on social media, peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart, and has since racked up over 500 million streams on Spotify. The success also earned NOTION a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

But NOTION's universe extends far beyond one viral hit. On projects like OUTSIDER and FORWARDS He moves freely between garage, house, breaks and jungle, while his Dance Dubs series has given his own edits and bootlegs from the DJ desk a life outside the club.

And it's in front of an audience that NOTION's music really comes into its own. With fast mixes, heavy bass and a constant finger on the pulse of the club, he has played to packed crowds at festivals such as Glastonbury, Creamfields, Hideout and Leeds Festival.

Now it's Store VEGA's turn to feel the bass when NOTION comes by on November 21st.
