Things have been going incredibly well for the Danish electro-rock duo 100%WET.

The band was formed when the two guitarists and producers Jakob Birch and Casper Munns hit a creative nerve in 2022 at the Rhythmic Music Academy in Copenhagen. Just two years later in 2024, they were signed to the international label Crunchy Frog Recordings, released their debut single “Lost Myself” and in 2025 their self-titled debut album was ready.

A release that opened the door to the Danish as well as the international music scene with reviews from home and abroad.

The Line of Best Fit described the music from the album as: “It's Mazzy Star meets Goldie meets The Cure meets A Tribe Called Quest”.

Soundvenue was also positive about the musical duo and their debut. The album's mix of genres in particular caught the reviewer's attention:

"With that said, 100%WET has struck a previously untouched nerve in the genre mix they themselves have dubbed hypergaze. Birch and Munns actually manage to combine the many sources of inspiration, and the result is a breath of fresh air in an already genre-pluralistic music landscape."

On stage, the duo performs the complexity of the music, with a hybrid drum kit, an arsenal of guitars and samplers on stage, ethereal vocals, breakbeats and massive guitar surfaces as basic elements. For this, 100%WET collaborates with Sanna Heinstedt, who is the band's frontwoman live.

On October 14, the audience at Lille VEGA can expect an unpredictable, pulsating and dreamy sound universe, where shoegaze dances hectic cheek dance with danceable electronic beats.
