Legendary Röyksopp, who gave a completely sold-out concert at Store VEGA in 2023, will return to the Copenhagen venue on Saturday, April 12th, with a special DJ show.

If you want to name the biggest international name in Norwegian music this millennium, Röyksopp is one of the most obvious candidates.

The style-setting Norwegian producer duo can thus boast, in their 25-year career, album sales in the millions, concerts on the biggest stages around the world, several international hits, two Grammy nominations, remixes by Depeche Mode, Beck, Lady Gaga and Coldplay, among others, and collaborations with musicians such as Robyn, Karin Dreijer, Lykke Li and Erlend Øye.

The key to Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland's success is their brilliant mix of foot-moving house, melancholic downbeat and sun-drenched chill-out with delicate synth-pop melodies. A formula they already perfected on their million-selling debut "Melody AM" (2001), from which the singles "Eple" and "Poor Leno" became huge international hits on MTV, among others.

In total, the duo has released nine albums, the latest of which, Nebulous Nights (An Ambient Excursion into Profound Mysteries), was released at the end of 2024 and contains contributions from, among others, Astrid S, Alison Goldfrapp and Susanne Sundfør.

Röyksopp gave a fantastic and completely sold-out concert at Store VEGA in October 2023, with what GAFFA called “a spectacular show with impressive visual effects”. This spring, the popular Norwegians will return to the Copenhagen venue, this time in a special DJ setup, where the audience can expect both classics from their formidable back catalogue and electronic music history.
