The critically acclaimed duo Schæfer have quickly established themselves as one of the boldest and most exciting new acts on the Danish music scene. Schæfer are currently making waves with their critically acclaimed debut EP Hundeliv — a generational portrait charged with social critique, vulnerability, and a fierce, unapologetic energy.

In addition to receiving airtime and rotation on Danish radio stations P4, P6 BEAT, P5, and P8 Jazz, the EP has also earned widespread praise from media outlets such as Politiken, GAFFA, and Bands Of Tomorrow.

The duo — and close friends — Anna Skov (vocals) and Emil Mors (keyboards) write socially conscious and subtly witty songs that point fingers at both the world around them and themselves. Schæfer have already toured extensively across Denmark, playing sold-out shows in cities including Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Aalborg.

It is especially on stage that the band has truly made its mark, as the duo expands into an explosive seven-piece ensemble. On February 4, they will take the stage at Lille VEGA. Live, audiences are invited into a powerful collective where the seven musicians’ total presence and sheer joy of playing set the tone.

The sound is jazzy, pop-infused, and above all driven by an exceptional ability to deliver powerful songs filled with depth, playfulness, and an uncompromising, rebellious energy.
