At just 23, Tobias Sten has already become one of Norway’s most exciting new artists. After a breakthrough summer headlining festivals across the country, he now brings his live show to Copenhagen, inviting audiences into a world of heartbreak, self-discovery and raw emotion.

On stage, Sten combines an effortless charisma with a natural confidence, backed by a band that matches his energy and musicality. His concerts are built around huge choruses, hands-in-the-air moments and songs made to be sung back at him - but there is real depth beneath the surface, with a vulnerability that gives the music its emotional weight.

Sten may call himself a country artist, but his sound reaches well beyond the genre. His songs draw just as much from the folk-pop and stomp-and-clap rock of the 2010s - think Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers - as they do from traditional Nashville country.

He sings in the distinctive dialect of his hometown, Stord, on Norway’s west coast. Some of the words may take a moment to catch, but the emotion comes through loud and clear. His songwriting explores everything from his parents’ divorce and the highs and lows of falling in love to the process of figuring out who you are. Beneath the soaring choruses are deeply personal stories and an honest take on both the highs and the harder parts of life.

Since making his debut in the summer of 2024, Sten has released one EP and two albums, played more than 150 shows and sold out Oslo Spektrum. Fourteen of his songs have also reached Spotify’s Norwegian Top 10, including “Hånd i hånd” and “Fy faen du e deili”.

Now, one of Norway’s fastest-rising artists is heading to VEGA. And with Tobias Sten’s career moving at full speed, there’s no telling where he’ll be by the time he walks onto the Store VEGA stage.
