The brothers from Berlin, Leo and Rafael Schmid, excel in atmospheric, musical tableaus, where acoustic piano pieces, analog synthesizers and minimalist beats merge into their genre-bending, electronic sound universe.

On their latest EP, No Feeling Is Final (2025), the siblings continue to unwaveringly explore different corners of their musicality – from neoclassical and ambient to melodic, techno.

The two brothers grew up with music close to their lives. Leo has developed a virtuoso relationship with the black and white keys of the piano, based on classical works by JS Bach, Schumann and Debussy, while Rafael is drawn to electronic experiments with, among other things, sound design.

In the project TWO LANES The duo has thus found a common musical language, where their skills in both acoustic and electronic music fit together like a glove.

With several releases behind them, TWO LANES has achieved more than 300 million streams across various platforms, and radio stations such as BBC1, Sirius XM and Triple J have dedicated airtime to their compositions.

On February 12th, the audience can enter Leo and Rafael's captivating and genre-defying world when they virtuosoally deliver acoustic and electronic melodious sound in Lille VEGA.
