The sibling orchestra dössing blends Nordic modern jazz with musical influences from lounge and dub, adding an extra dimension through poetic and unifying narratives in their works. Their sound is characterized by the meeting of the acoustic and the electronic, which is particularly expressed through airy wind instruments and playful percussion, which are combined with bassy synthesizers, trilling keys and rhythmic drum machines.

When you, as a listener and audience, are introduced to Dössing, it is clear that the group comes from a background where music and the creative element have been a deeply rooted part of life. It is not entirely coincidental that the siblings have had this part in their baggage. As children of the folktronica pioneers from Sorten Muld and with large parts of their childhood in the Toustrup Mark housing community in Eastern Jutland, the members can be said to have been exposed to music, community and co-creation from an early age.

In 2022, dössing released their debut album All-inclusive, which was a narrator-guided, auditory journey through a hotel-inspired universe. The album became Album of the Week on P8 JAZZ with frequent rotation since, received great reviews from, among others, GAFFA and Information and opened up for live performances at major events such as DMA JAZZ 2022, SPOT Festival, Vinterjazz and Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

MELÉN is a Swedish artist and producer based in Copenhagen and Malmö with a vision of shaping a soundscape that balances the human and the mechanical. Through loops, vocal pedals and voice memo samples, she creates a sound that evokes associations with artists such as Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell and Björk.

She debuted in 2021 with the EPMind/Mathand followed up the following year with SHIFT/WHEN, the latter described in Swedish media as 'experimental, yet accessible and wonderfully captivating'. Since then, she has been actively touring around Scandinavia. Currently, MELÉN is working on her debut album, scheduled for release in 2025.
