Behind Tiger Oak's complex rhythms, intricate melodies and surprising electronic effects stand producer and sound artist Laurits Steen Møberg and vocalist Anna Prinds.

Elegant and evocative vocals that create sensuality and mystery are tied together with the driven compositions. It takes you into a floating universe that mixes jazz and hip-hop and makes Tigeroak quite unique on the Danish music scene.

The duo released their debut record, Living and Living, in 2023 and has released the EP this year Stay Close. The new EP is a collage of hip-hop grooves from the London underground, neo-soul from the aughts and electronic futuristic landscapes, that are precisely combined with cool Nordic elegance, acoustic jazz and poetic lyricism. Floating adventurous creatures from forest lakes meet longing city dwellers from an apartment with large windows and a view of the rooftops.

Tigeroak most recently won "Single of the Year" at DMA Jazz and recently received 6 out of 6 stars for their concert at SPOT Festival this year as well as five stars from Gaffa for their concert at Roskilde Festival 2024. In the review they write, among other things:
