The eminent R&B star has just dropped two new singles titled "Love Me Not" and "Love Is Blind". The songs herald the new album, which will be released on August 9th on the mighty and trend-setting record company Atlantic Records.

The album has been given the title Birds Eye, and with the new songs Ravyn Lenae once again invites the listener into an atmospheric and melodious universe of soft R&B tones and captivating lyrical weight.

On Birds Eye Ravyn Lenae has worked together with the Grammy-winning producer Dahi, who, among other things, has sat behind the mixing desk with names like Drake, SZA and Kendrick Lamar.

On the album, Lenae revolves lyrically around being able to accept the crossroads you face in life and trusting your intuition despite your insecurities and doubts. In her press release, she writes, among other things:

"Revisiting the most basic parts of my identity has allowed me to fully embrace them and be proud of where I'm going."

The album follows up her debut release HYPNOS, which became the Chicago songwriter's big commercial breakthrough. The album was created in collaboration with magical musicians such as Kaytrananda, Steve Lacy, Smino and Foucheé, all providing soulful tones to the eclectic neo-souled masterpiece. HYPNOS became Best New Music on Pitchfork, who gave it a 8.5 score and wrote:
