Marcela Lucatelli's trio, Necromancy, consists of Lars Bech Pilgaard, Anders Vestergaard and Lucatelli herself. They create a unique mix of noise, gothic and horror, inspired by Afro-Brazilian rituals. The songs pay homage to gods through sonorous features and are performed in Portuguese and Yoruba. The album Necromancy won the DMA 2023 for Vocal Jazz Release of the Year.

Marcela Lucatelli is a remarkable artist on the international music scene who unites new compositional music, innovative vocal experiments and often politically charged performances. For Lucatelli, the stage is not only a space for musical and artistic expression, but also an arena where the fight for art and political agendas can take place. She is the founder of a multitude of projects and musical constellations.

In collaboration with JazzDanmark, VEGA has invited three pioneering artists and orchestras to work with the immersive concert experience in Ideal bar in the autumn of 2024.
