Alcest have just released their brand new single "L'Envol", a taster for the follow-up to their critically acclaimed album Spiritual Instinct (2019). The upcoming album is titled Les Chants de l'Aurore and is set for release on June 21st.

In an Instagram post from the band, frontman Neige talks about the finalisation of the songs and what listeners can expect from the genre-defining duo:

"I just finished writing the music of our next album. It took me a while but I am happy and it's gonna be a really emotional one I think. Now ready to play these new songs with Winterhalter and start working together on pre-productions."

French pioneers Alcest have been blowing fans and critics away with their unique blend of post-metal and shoegaze since 2005. Frontman Neige and drummer Winterhalter master the grand sonic arrangements of cutting guitars, raging blast beats and grandiose melodies.
