August Høyen have had a wild year. With the debut EP It's All About You (2023), the young songwriter had a regular breakthrough. This was followed by P3's Uundgåliege, performances at, among others, Roskilde Festival and Smukfest, a DMA nomination, a string of sold-out concerts on his first full Danish tour - and most recently his first, and by the way resoundingly sold-out, concert in Store VEGA. Now the songwriter announces another Danish tour with new music in the bag.

2024 does not indicate that it will be any less busy. August Høyen has spent the past months diligently writing and recording new music in the company of his regular creative partners T&O and Laurits Smedegaard Andersen.

The first release from here is the single "Jaloux" - a song that wants to help de-taboo a feeling that most people know, but that few care about. And a song that once again demonstrates what makes Høyen unique as a songwriter: his ability to tell the very simple and clear stories about the common human emotional life, which he views and describes without prejudice and with warmth, care and understanding for the listener.

August Høyen's musical career began when he started playing drums as a boy - because the children in his family had to learn to play. While exploring the rhythms, he sat in his boys' room listening to Stevie Wonder and practicing singing. Hour after hour. While his friends got better at kicking ankles on the football field, he got better at expressing himself through song.

Jens Konrad is not new to the world of music. As former lead singer
of the English-language alternative pop/rock band SENSO and as part of the electronic duo Lyra Valenza, he has already made his mark with a distinct and attractive musical style.

Now Jens Konrad builds on this success and prepares for his album release with four strong singles. Three of them are already out, and they have been met with enthusiasm by recognized media such as GAFFA, Puls Magasinet and Muuv. On the radio waves, the singles have made a name for themselves on DR P6's programs 'Debut' and 'Fezten' as well as received airtime on several local and university radio stations. With his upcoming album, Jens Konrad is clearly ready to take another step and cement his place on the Danish music scene - and perhaps even far beyond the country's borders.
