Svea S' poplars float softly in Store VEGA
With her characteristic vocals and ear for a good pop melody, the up-and-coming singer has won fans and hearts all over Denmark. The new single from Svea S "Trust Me I'll Be There" marks a shift in her releases.
This time, there is more pace and momentum in the production, while the songwriting delves into an issue that many, especially young people, can relate to. Who am I? And is my identity, and my love life, necessarily as one-dimensional as I have always believed? Svea S. talks about the single:
“My song 'Tro Mig Jeg Vil Være Der' stems from a personal and somewhat surprising discovery in my life: I have recognized that my love may not be as limited as I thought. Following my heart and taking this step was scary, but challenging my view of myself and asking questions has been one of the best decisions I have made. I hope that my song will inspire others to venture into the unknown.”
Since listeners first heard about Svea S in 2020, a lot has happened in the world of the young, budding musician. The debut single “Langt Imellem” was played on the radio, including a 20-week siege of the airplay top-20 chart.
With the release of the gold-certified hit single “Hey Far,” Svea S solidified her place as an established artist on the Danish pop scene. The latter broke all Danish records for user videos on TikTok, was chosen as Inescapable of the Week on P3, and was #30 on the Danish Spotify chart.

It's excitement, mosh pit and excitement, it's uncertainty, pressure and sadness. With the energy of a rapper and the fragility of a singer, KARLA takes an honest look at the youth life of the time. This happens both in the songs and on stage, where the goal is to create a community about all the things we go around with alone.
KARLA grew up in the cradle of Danish hip-hop, Amager, where her first tracks were characterized by power and “come on” energy. Now she frowns and draws life with more nuances in her music. The budding artist draws on a wealth of inspiration, including Artigeardit, Billie Eilish and Tyler The Creator.
