Death Machine balances the fragile and the hard-hitting in VEGA
Death Machine paints their musical canvas with hand-played alternative folk with a splash of elements from pop, indie and noise rock.
On Death Machine's upcoming cut, Dawning Eyes, which will be released in April this year, the band takes the listener through a musical landscape where genres and time periods intertwine. The sound moves from a warm 70's mellowness over 80's-inspired textures to a more contemporary expression.
Dawning Eyes contains both a grand, cinematic sound and a present, intimate atmosphere. The beautiful tracks balance between contrasts that create both synergy and intensity. Death Machine is a hard-hitting band name with
contrasting songs.
The group's members come from different musical backgrounds, each with their own musical baggage, which has also influenced the different expressions of the songs. There has been a strong desire to write the album's content, no matter how different they have been in terms of genre, and the group has thus not wanted to put themselves in a specific box. In addition, the writing process has not been subject to a specific time dogma, as the first album was, but the songs have had time to develop in order to get the right expression.
