APHACHA enriches the Danish music landscape with songs from youth to life, friendship and community.

Rumle Hueg Kærså, Bertram Ask Plauborg, Bertil Engberg Nielsen and Noah Elias Rasmussen met at Det Frie Gymnasium at Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The alternative school's democratic and creative DNA spread and took root in the four friends who first and foremost had music in common - music that wanted and needed to get out.

APHACA is a band. A new band to the public, but not to each other. They are friends first and foremost; they know each other, are safe and secure together, listen to each other and have great respect for each other. They are a team. And there is always warmth, both when it's fun, but also when it's difficult. Like a friendship, contrary to all the prejudices that surround young people in general. Because APHACA is about being present, being present. To wear your feelings on your sleeve and share them - to look up and out. To seek friendship and community.

After a year and a half release break, APHACA released the eternity metaphor, "Til Solen Er Sort", in October 2023. Their concert in Store VEGA sold out and was followed by a concert at SPOT Festival in Aarhus, where the organisers simply had to close the gates to the large outdoor Parkscene, while 4000 audience members sang and danced the sun with APHACA to top reviews from the Danish critics. A concert that cemented a blazing breakthrough for a budding four-leaf clover in Danish music.

It is in live experiences like these that you find one of APHACA's greatest strengths as a band: They believe in the unity between people. That the individual becomes better on their own, by holding hands with the group. We strengthen each other - and everyone deserves to be a part of something.

The phrase on the band's second EP of the year, Kan Du Mærke Suset, epitomises this spirit.

On Friday 11 October, the Copenhagen-based band will collect the EPs, Mig Og Min Mund and the new one, Kan Du Mærke Suset?, on the vinyl release, MAGNA.
