On May 16, British indie pop comet Alfie Jukes will shower you with crisp melodies when he lands at Lille VEGA.

The 21-year-old songwriter from Brighton burst onto the international music scene with the heartfelt and soul-searching single "Spiderwebs", which resonated with millions around the world.

With his deep and soothing vocals, Alfie Jukes delivers soft melancholy with catchy melody lines and poetic phrases about moving forward in life despite the bumps in the road.

Since the release of his debut EP Little Omens, released in September last year, the rising melody connoisseur has completed two UK tours with sold-out shows in London, Brighton, Manchester and Leeds.

This year he released his second EP Sitting Pretty. Inspired by the likes of Joesef, Phoebe Bridgers and Sam Fender, Alfie Jukes fuses a distinctive and catchy musical universe that delves into the depths of youthful existentialism. Heartfelt lyrics are wrapped in a colorful musical gift wrap of subtle melodies.

The young songwriter has been releasing music since 2021 after building a large following on TikTok during lockdown. Here he posted a series of crisp cover versions from his Brighton bathroom that laid the seeds for his burgeoning career.
