Ellen Krauss raw and intimate in Ideal Bar
Equipped with a guitar and a razor-sharp vocal, Ellen Krauss is a singer-songwriter in the sun sign and a distinct indie pop magician in the ascendant. In her music, Krauss revolves around the raw and unfiltered nature of love, where the songs are often playful and romantic and the lyrics authentic and honest.
With the LGBTQ anthem "The One I Love" from the album Pearl (2020), Krauss broke through to the Swedish public in particular and the single put the musician firmly on the musical map. The debut was followed by an almost sold-out tour and instantly. Since his debut, the Swede has released a handful of successful singles and earlier this year, Krauss won Singer/Songwriter of the Year at the Swedish Grammis Awards.
Now Ellen Krauss is back with new music. Earlier this year, the single "Cherry On Top" landed, proclaiming well-known beats from Krauss; a tour de force in acoustic guitar tones flowing in sweetness and love. Most recently, the musician has released the album front runner "Right?", that is disarmingly and honestly, focusing on the importance of taking care of yourself in order to take care of someone else.
On August 23rd Ellen Krauss will release the single, "Secrets" from the upcoming album, Romeo, which is set to be released in early October.

Support: de clair
Singer-songwriter de clair was born and raised in a small town in southern Sweden. She picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of 10 and slowly moved to the black, out-of-tune grand piano in her living room. The music of Nico, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Björk in particular became her main inspiration when she started writing and producing her own music.
After opening for artists like Amanda Bergman, Augustine and waterbaby, the summer of 2024 also saw de clair's first tour of her own with appearances at festivals like Way Out West, Storsjöyran and The Great Escape in the UK. It left a lasting impression, and now de clair are following up the summer by joining Ellen Krauss' big autumn tour.
