The duo Twen have played their way into the hearts of rock fans with their blend of shoegaze, indie rock and post-punk influences. Although the band was formed in 2016 by lead singer Jane Fitzimmons and guitarist Ian Rollins Jones, after the pandemic the band is a completely new project, except that they've kept the name Twen.

Their third album is set for release in 2024, but they have already released the single "SeaStar". With the single, the band has evolved further from the shoegaze aesthetic of Awestruck (2019) - to a modern classicism that can be heard on their second album One Stop Shop (2022), in the political (but hopeful) lyrics, indelible hooks and a homegrown sonic mix that rewards with every listen.

The latest chapter in the band's history is characterised by booking their own tours, designing and printing their own merch, directing and editing their own music videos, producing and mixing their own albums; all to a degree that seems hard to believe if you didn't know that they've also been building their own mobile home from scratch, living and travelling around the North American continent since 2020.
